 I pity this nonsense. Market dictates wages after a certain threshold. But basic minimum wage should correspond to cost of living. I call this as exploitation of labor and it’s a human right issue to have 7$ per hour in cities like Dallas and Austin.

First of all, not everyone is meant to be good at school. We see that in India too. Many people are phuckin losers in academic setting. 

Next, student debt is way worse than anyother debt in this country.

Many people despite being graduated from decent schools, have failed in their attempts to secure a decent job myaaan. Unlike us, they cannot phake their experience. They cannot stay  jobless for too long either. Here Momma and Papa does not support kids for 3 years with out a job. Kids eventually yeild and grab some job or other. 

I'm sure you are aware of this, but there are barely any jobs for freshers in vomerica unless you are from elite schools.

You don't have to be good at school to be successful anna. There are many jobs outside the range of minimum wage that can be secured just by High school degree. All they need to do is experiment and find what they want to become. 

In this country people select to become something.. You can be a musician, Nurse, teacher at day cares, can even be a care taker for elderly.. They chose to do what they want to do purely out of passion and people tend to get first chances..
