I was in bangalore till pre covid. Only viable road during traffic hours is ring road.. city roads anni small lanes.. RR kuda on the verge of choking to death... alternates transportation kuda lev.. oka metro station kattadaniki 5-6+ years teeskuntaru.. kr puram metro construction nene 2018 nundi chustunna, everyday aa route lo hell adi. and they didn't even took advantage of lockdown to speed up.. kannadigas are dumb though iam generalizing.. Instead of questioning govt they will be whining on migrants.

They are helpless , Bengaluru only sends 4/224 MlA'S to state assembly. The local bodies are just dummies 

MLA'S from other parts of the state loot and ruin the city. 

Majority of the voters in Bengaluru City are from slums anyway , these people don't care about development. They just want safety and welfare schemes

Why would central govt plan for cities ? It falls under state rights

The state ignored the master plan since 1990's and they don't even have any master plan since 2015 which is pathetic for a city of that size

every city has a masterplan even guntur or kakinada and state govt has been ignoring them from last 30 years. Planning is a joke ,state govt only care about places where they can do real estate

too much urbanization every where…somehow everyone one started seeing height of the buildings as development…and multiple floors of families are sharing single ground bit of ground water resources…and cities are consistently failing to preserve rain water…but successful on flooding on roads…

Villages are gone case under current economic model , India needs more urbanisation. But that needs to be done in a affordable and sustainable way. 

Right now most of the people migrating to cities go straight into slums due to unaffordable land. 

How come a driver or maid ever own a property in any Indian city ? Only way is to live in slums built on public land like canals , lakes ,parks ,roads , etc

Villages are costly to maintain and provide services than cities. 

Urban areas will always have better education, healthcare, cheaper goods , connectivity  and job access 

India should actually destroy villages and urbanise to improve the standard of living just like the chinese.  

Everyone knows how to build a grand city , the main factor is how to build a city that can accommodate the bottom 90% of population ?

i disagree bro…

all the development, modernization and globalization we are talking about is shaping our mindset far from reality…creating its own reality like our lives are in running competition and we have to run all the time…

you are seeing positive side of the urban life style…but it creates lot of mental health issues specially for younger generation…

rural living is always better for humans and environment…actually now a days people are inventing new words like permaculture living..which means  actually is rural living…close to nature…
