lot of tesla cars proved their long run compared to others. they have to sell EVs with minimal profits to get people to buy EVs for that price. it's almost like they don't want people to buy EV. If they are getting a diesel truck for 50K and similar EV for 100K, why would anyone buy an EV?

Especially when gas prices are going down.. once gas prices hit $2/gal most of them won’t look at Evs bcuz it’s cheaper to own a gas car at that price vs spending $70k for ev

Pickup trucks are expensive.. electric pickup trucks are even more expensive…. They are gas guzzlers and it makes more sense for them to be electric as it saves lot of fuel consumption and save money.. 

Be aware that All new entrants to the electric car market will take some time to stabilize the engines.. initial buyers will run into lot of issues with the battery and cars.. Tesla had several fire accidents in the first 5 years or so..

yeah adhi correct ye .. city lo tiragataniki for daily commute .. EV helps .. becos night charge petukuni .. morning veskuni vellochu .. long drives ante .. konchem kashtame ..

Similar 280mi 40mpg iche hybrid lo 7gallons gas tho povachu ( AC nee istam speed nee istam) which costs you $21 ($3per gallon avg)

Ex. Accord hybrid full tank tho 400mi + range vasthadi and you can get one for around $30k. 40+mpg vasthadi .. 

I just sold my EV  .. this is my exp ..

i did a 16 hour drive single day with superchargers. I didn't have any issues. in those 16 hours, drive was 13 and half and rest 2 and half hours charging. good thing is charging can be mixed with stops and food so you don't feel like you stopped just for charging.

this depends on where you are going and availability of charging network. EVs for long drives are completely not there yet for everyone, but for couple people its nice relax drive.

daily home and work commute ki perfect where you charge to 80% every night.

you think EV is only gas savings? It's more than gas. in long run, you have maintenance savings. as they improve mineral digging and recycling of batteries, EVs make lot less emissions during manufacture process.

right now any EV other than tesla is bad for long drives. i did with tesla and didn't feel much difference. you just make more stops, but if you have kids you automatically make those stops.

Come on buddy u act like u care about environment etc., no one really cares about.. it’s all in their saying that’s all! U don’t have to save environment just by buying a Tesla .. there are hundreds of things every day to do to save environment!  Tesla is list among them

Let gas prices come down to $2.. u will c all ev prices start coming down drastically .. past cpl of months we saw gas prices almost fell down more then a $1..
