If Roomba is too expensive for you, try roborock..usually couple of hundred cheaper than roomba with same features

In think there are better models available now. They keep upgrading these robots every year. Try to buy the latest one.

If I buy another robot vacuum cleaner, I would buy roomba with auto empty station. Several models are available based on our budget.
 

If you run these robots on carpet, you need to manually empty the dust collector of the vacuum cleaner as the auto empty suction cannot remove the carpet material. If you run it in hard floors only, no manual intervention needed for atleast 2/3 weeks.

i have roborock s7 maxvplus...koncham expensive but work every penny. 

it has very advanced technology like lidar mapping and onboard camera for obstacle detection and it can vaccum and mop.

you can clean specific targetted areas as well as you can operate the box like a remote control car using app. you can drive the robo to any location using app and at the same time you can turn on live camera to see where it is going.
