I think this is when Zuck realized he needs to go all in to create a Metaverse platform like apple dominates in the smartphone industry

Its anybody's game. Nobody knows Apple during Nokia days. Nobody knows Tesla when Big Auto is still prototyping with EVs. Similarly - there is a company for Metaverse, but I think it wont be META 

Zuck's may be late to the game even if he realized its potential.

Blind lo chusava one of the stakeholders is begging meta employees to use metaverse and love it. He even said they haven’t found a market fit for this application yet.

ROI for ads on fb has plummeted because of this feature. Not just fb any app cannot survive if they don’t get customer data.
