Musk has pulled his most loyal employees from $TSLA to perform code review & design software at $TWTR. 

Key ones:

Director, Software Development Ashok Elluswamy

Director, Autopilot and TeslaBot Engineering Milan Kovac

Senior Director of Software Engineering Maha Virduhagiri
 

Probably what you are seeing at Twitter SFO HQ is : 

1. A lockdown of production environment. Only the employees with firefighter access can get in, everything being audited. 

2. Total code freeze at the moment. 

I won’t be surprised if people go to jail after this

whatever may be his reasons but the guy has guts.  he knows that his statements and views will negatively impact revenue for his companies but he does not back down.

If anyone here thinks Ashok and Maha are some kind of genius you would be surprised how mediocre their skills are.
