i hate car rental corporations with all their add-ons and drama..

Not sure bro.. middle seats fold chesthe, they usually don’t flat out.. and they will occupy space too as middle seats are bigger.. 

how far is the airport? Can you make 2 trips or take a Uber? Lyft is comparatively cheaper than Uber..

In MDX you cannot fit that many suit ases without folding middle and third row..

used Odyssey , plenty of space. 3 adults, 2 kids, 8 LARGE suitcases very easy.

may be I should replace mdx with minivan now😁

We if they dont have money - you are better off paying them for their uber fare.

no brother -  the trip is already done and I am posting a post-trip update...

was easy peasy with this TURO approach. reasonable cost.. rented minivan and hauled luggage and people at the same time in same vehicle. as that was my intent - to be able to bring them with me - not in another uber/taxi service

as low as $50 per day per minivan (this was for older cars, some what far too).

mine cost somewhat more as I preferred closer pickup and 8 seater instead of 7 seater. 
around  $90 + $20 (some turo trip cost) + insurance (I declined) . while the enterpsie showed around $180 i think ..

also, if you book advance and more than 3 days - it will show leser prices and later if you go with same person  - they may give 5-10% discounts etc.. Overall it's personable instead of dealing with corporates. in addition to some cost benefit.
