its not crypto or block chain based…its same fiat currency..

al the motive is to reduce inter banking costs and paper money printing costs…

its just rupee in digital format…become E-rupee…

it only worth mentioning if govt fully confidently says its backed by block chain…at this time i didnt see any where govt is saying that confidently..

as it is not decentralized digital currency no one have full ledger…so all powers in the hands of who is in govt…

unlike crypto…its only giving god eye on transactions to govt only (no public ledger)….…so it (govt)can use depends on political benefits like ignore own party and focus on oppositions…storage is much more convenient in digital wallets so during elections easy to transfer money…from state to state and pocket to pocket…

i would welcome this move only if it is fully backed by block chain and public ledger is available to public…

What would be the difference between e-rupee and using a debit/credit card ?

debit card/credit cards are digital transactions on paper money…

digital rupee is digital format…it doesn’t  burn or tear..etc but finally nothing but a paper money (fiat system) …

dont get confused with digital rupee and crypto currency…huge fundamental difference is there…

if you have govt support…digital format is much more convenient…

Ya Govt ki kuda CBI raids threat cheskochu eppudina mana mata vinakapothe....

Like Adani ki edina company kavalante...it will be very easy for Govt to that company by blackmailing the owner....

Good Idea...
