Worst case lo .. can we apply e-visa ?

Yes..updating new passport on oci is good to go..don't think any other case..I did the same and travelled last week

Ippudu new oci ki adey kada rule. Just update the passport and should be good . Don’t have to reapply .

You need to apply for new oci when kid turns 20 years and again after he/she turns 50.

Yes. After 4 to 5 weeks ..will get an email saying that new passport updated..even if you don't get email  that also works as long as you did the update process

Okay. I didnt knew that... still better than applying every 5 years for kids and every time if an adult USC has to renew the passport !
