you are again confusing private sw companies with public policy done by likes of CBN which immideately benefits laks of people.

But i admire private sw companies - despite themselves - they cannot control work within their caste. They may have to invent a capitalist class and that cannot be worse than caste system. i am not saying we should celebrate it - just that it is better than stagnation of upper caste feudalis.

like I said again in that thread.. How do you propose govt break caste hegemony in a business network? Should that be primary motive of a govt (that is what Jagan is doing and what you are railing against), or should it be to ensure price stability inspite of whoever controls the network?

CBN built a hitech city outside of the city center.. what's so great about it? bunch of cheap land waiting to be built into a planned space. Its requires much greater political capital and public spirit to try and convince people living in the city center to allow a tech center to come up in their midst.

cbn took the easy route, that benefited a lot of his caste peers (that's what everyone here claims), and deserves no praise for shifting resources from the city to its outskirts. That the gamble paid off in the long run is purely his luck in being at the right place at the right time. nothing more.
