Urgent Info/Help- US Citizen Minor Passport Renewal, Hyderabad India

Brothers pls help with the info kindly. Applying for my 5 yr kid's US passport renewal in Hyderabad consulate.

Appointment time lo, Parents original documents like parents' passports verify chesi photocopy theskuntara or original theskoni kids passport issue ayyaka other documents return chese package lo return chesthara. Looks like current US passport renewal time in India is 6 to 8 weeks. Ante almost 2 months original docs/passports of parents block avthaya consulate lo? pls help with the info brothers.

I don’t think they l take parents original passport .. instead they should take minor original birth certificate.. let’s see what others say .. even I am looking for this info ..

US never takes originals of supporting documents. Max they Could ask is Notarized copies ! 
otherwise NO ORIGINALS needed to be submitted except for the actual applicant stuff !! 
and Birth certificate copy ! Already passport unnaka malli enduku adugutharu avanni!???

If it's a minor both parents must go to consulate during appointment with their original docs but I don't think they keep their original docs.

Thanks brothers for all your responses. 
"Original docs will be returned after reviewing your application . . . " ante processing time lo they need originals anukunna. So while reviewing your application ante appointment day mana presence lo application review chesi originals return chesi, photocopies theskuntar anamata for the internal processing that takes anytime more than 3 weeks, got it, thanks again brothers for sharing the info. ma visa appointments ku conflict undindhi, hence worried.
