Guys this is scenario.. I know this is not a post asking for medical advise but there are doctors in this forum.. also this post is made after number of visits to hospitals and different providers

1. Parent a and parent b , child 1 and child 2

Parents in age 30s

Children 5 both

2. So last November , parent b got covid ..and it passed on to parent a ..followed by kids ..all in the same week..all recovered with normal fever ..  kids tested negative covid and flu

Kids vaccinated ..so do parents ..2 doses each..

3. Now after gap of one week kid 1 got sick in school...and she was normal for two days..she was vomiting for two days.. after 1 week she got high fever ..doctors prescribed antibiotics ..fever lasted for 5 days .. they tested slight nuemonia infection.. went away after 5 days..

4. Followed by , parent A getting fever ...as soon as she got normal..

Tested neg for covid flu ..

5. Now again kid 2 got fever..

Yet to test covid

This sucks.. kids go to school ..we work from home..

Doctors say entire school is sick... Not just our kids.. is it normal to have this level of fever frequency for school going kids ?

if your kids are relatively new to school, meaning never went to day care then it's normal. no need to test if they are not severely sick.

Idi flu season.. on top of it, RSV cases are very high this year now.. we cannot protect kids from getting sick because of their weak immune system… when they go to school, they get viruses from other kids too.. if they are going to school for the first time, they are yet to build enough immunity…

Don’t worry.. every parent goes through this when the kids are little.. will stop or become less frequent  once they get 8 years or so.. try to give them sambuccol syrup, dabur chavanprash, different fruits etc every day.. and a good healthy diet too..

pretty normal.. as schools open, and RSV and Flu is doing shivathandavam across the world. Only suggestion is prevention. mask up..even for kids in the school
