That's his job  trade but whatever he mentioned regarding science and technology growth is true ..

Even companies like Infosys and tcs cannot risk their r & d on product development rather than service simply because their resource allotment is critical and cannot risk copyright infringement..

Same applies with our pharma giants.. we have resources for clinical testing ..formula and manufacturing generic drugs ...but when it comes to r&d , even faints cannot afford the risk..

Firms like Mahindra , tata motors are somewhat exception....

To be fair, Infy focuses so much on self learning.. but not many employees are interested in learning or even upskill their profile.. may be bcoz they are content with their current skills.. you can get certs for free, they even pay the fee for you.. you can learn anything you want for free.. wifey used to work there..

ma company/org lo nenu oka learning initiative start chesthe, first week 55 ppl vacharu.. from then it went downhill.. I had to cancel it as the attendance kept going down and down.. and it wasn’t worth my time..

you can't expect a horse to win race tying its legs.

janaalaku freebies ichinantha easy ga we don't give money to institutes, how much the governments are spending on freebies to the masses? vs on education? we want everything free, paisal ekkada nunchi vasthaaayi? above all they have this big back door "reservations" where you are compromising on talent, it is not just the problem with IITs, it is how we have built them,

chese faalthu panulu chesi, IIT ane brand ni blame chesthe elaaa?

IIMs are surviving to the least besides reservations because they are getting contribution from alumni and also they are running commercial courses as well, still they are bound by lot of politics.

It's not just about institutes ..the intuition to do research is being killed at young ages..we are after securing marks and breaking entrance exams ...

not everyone, what I am saying is that, besides that there is no suitable environment to get into research, if you provide good resources for research, there are lot of people that get into research instead of rotting in some consultancy job post their graduation

It won't help. The only way to achieve is by providing great environment and putting tremendous pressure.

India lacks in Material science education. That's not the case with top super powers, they have access to best materials in the world and they can do research to make everything. Also Scientific thinking and temperment is another issue
