Yes In Texas wife need to sign on deed.

But U can sign behalf of you wife. Ask poa from your lender and title company.

I did the same.

Ya, they said it should have notary from US embassy in India. US embassy lo appointment ante, huge waiting time ga.You know the process?

Try online Notary. notarize.com Your title company should be able to accomodate this request. I was able to do for my wife when she was out of country. They will ask her for proof of identity such as DL/Passport etc. Some state notaries require state resident id like DL.
