bad for apple, good for others.

both…imo..

apple is less spam compared to android…because their appstore strict guidelines…

even financial apps also with out single thought we download from appstore and use it…if third party apps compromise on those issues…there will be trust issues…

not true. if people still download from app store, it doesn't matter. apple isn't new enough for people to not know about it. if you go for third party store, you know the risk.

You still have option to download only from App Store or some crap store by taking risk. Its a piece of software and you can download from anywhere you wish

any way this is a trick from Apple, they realized that apps life is ending. Every site will be html5 and works as non app soon

It’s not about Apple. They don’t want to implement this. But new EU rules are forcing this.

imo..third part app stores are two types…

one is managed app stores

another one non managed app stores

managed app store option is already there no? if we configured our  office environment from mobile…you will get an your office related app store…from there you install all your  office related apps..in this method third party appstore also available as an in appstore…thats how device management works as far as i know..so all the third party/office apps also has to use apple authentication service (openid)….like face id and fingerprint…etc…

another one is jailbreak kind of thing…which is already there in android..thats how everyone install iptv..etc

You have to realize that apps lifecycle is over. Its like website going forward. Just a url and add to favorites on desktop. No point in having App Store.

Jailbreak and third party are diff. Jailbreak is finding vulnerabilities and using that to get root access.

managed App Store is given to only employer companies. This third party App Store is more forced by EU to allow apps to host them outside App Store. Because Apple doesn’t want to reduce their 30% fees which is ridiculous and dumb
