There's a couple of times I had requested people to calm down politely.  Must admit it's a bit scary because especially with Americans a few times.

 I read especially if they are younger audience or teenagers they would wait outside in the parking lot to pick up a fight or worse shoot you. It actually happened to a lady who lost her life after she got shot at.
