hurricanes Oct and Nov lo horrible...dont plan anywhere within caribbean / gulf of Mx area. Dec nundi things will slow down...Jan and Feb perfect time..not too hot (always in lower 80's).

All inclusive resorts aithe just spend 1 day outside resort...not worth going out and spending money again for food outside when u already paid for 5 star level food in resort. leda 1 week trip plan chey, go out couple days and remaining within resort. Kids unte check for kid friendly resort, Ex - moon palace (sunrise or grand. Although Grand is expensive, but sunrise is also good). We have been to sunrise and took day pass for Grand. They have water park and many slides, kani toddler kids unte not worth anipinchindi....they hardly use these slides so Sunrise is perfect for kids below 5. Entire Moon palace resort is amazing and pretty big.

Costco lo any resort, packages are expensive....we bought in Expedia and saved $1000 for the same dates and same flight compared to costco. Check resort website as well, they too offer good discounts.

there are two types you can experience Cancun.....one is stay in non-all inclusive and explore few other places nearby like Isla Mujuers island, Tulum, Mayan ruins etc. (or) second way is just stick to your all inclusive resort...eat sleep drink and repeat...completely stress free vacation...dont worry abt other things, just get lazy and recharge ur battery. Sometime we need this type of vacay...where u dont have to go through checklist and vacay lo malli hadavidi and tension etc etc.

So cancun offers both options...its up to you which type u are inclined. Kids unte I'd prefer 2nd type...let them enjoy water...they dont care which sites u visited.

+100.

Kids give a damn F about history or wire seeing.. beach and water sports , all you can eat is what they want.
