Brazil worldcup ki mana India team backout ayindi kuda same reason valla becoz they dont want to play with shoes. My grandpa also played without shoes as well with his friends and colleagues. Also Chhetri mentioned in some interviews about this already, and even his uncles and others always played with bare feet to begin with.. But later generation players in 70s played somewhat well but could not match with other countries at international level. By 80s the sport suffered funding and other issues. 90s were worse and international skill level was beyond our talent.
