you will have better chances to prove the world is flat than proving you justification for compelling circumstances

Period of Authorized Stay - Compelling Circumstances Employment Authorization Document

Workers who are the beneficiary of an approved employment-based immigrant visa petition (Form I-140) may be eligible for a compelling circumstances EAD for up to one year if they:

  • do not have an immigrant visa available to them in the Department of State’s Visa Bulletin, and
  • face compelling circumstances. : they give these to hardly very few such as spouse suffering with cancer kind of compelling circumstances. US lo losing job is not compelling enough

CC ante nee story vinnaka kicku ravali, they just publish these for PR.. dont read too much into it

Correst...defenition is very broad and easily mingable....Loosing a job is not a compelling circumstance. It will have the same effect as a H4 trying to get it approved before current expiry because they loose the job without status.

Compelling circumstance ni 60 days lopu prove cheyyakapothe u wont have EAD and thus any underlying status. After 60 days, you will start accumulating unauthorized period of stay and getting EAD approved is out of question at that point. catch 22 situation idi.
