if you pay is 100k, you will owe 7,500 and will get refund. Next year tax refund thopati vasthundi

It's a good deal and is a decent car but has many reliability issues and recalls  

Just make sure you get extended warranty if you are going for it , EV repairs are out of this world 

Most are charging almost 200 to 400$ /hr for EV repairs

Not true. There is lot of misinformation and I think you got confused. As long as your federal tax liability is 7500 for that year you are eligible. You need not have to be in a position to owe 7500 at the year end. If you are making 75K and in the lower tax bracket you will have a liability of 7500. If you have already paid that in the form of withholdings during your m2m pay checks - you wont owe anything but still eligible for this rebate.
