Question on Roth Ira - Funds added but yet to invest

Current Roth IRA balance is $2500 - All the money invested.

Say I funded $1000 to Roth IRA today but not invested immediately. Lets assume that $1000 amount is invested in Apr 2023. Will this $1K be counted for 2022 IRA Limit ($6K) or next year 2023 ?
