This is not my personal observation. Get the genuine feedback from North based PM/TLs. They will surely tell you about this.

Also, contrary to your claims, Telugu people are not in that HIGHLY influential position in IT. Most of them are QAs, DevOps, People Management, BA, Analysts etc. They do not have much impact on Product development or R&D areas.

I once had an opportunity to do Product Assessment with one of the biggest service-based companies of the World. Had chance to see the Top 100 Developers of each category, And none of the list features Indians, forget Telugus.

If you want, check the licenses of whole suite of IntelliJ products. Most of the product devs come from Germany and Eastern European countries but not from India.

Same is the case with Microsoft & Google. You have only 2% in Product Development divisions as Indians. And Telugus are almost none in that category.

First of all that telugu people lie or fraud more is complete BS - exaggerating resumes is NOT seen as fraud by anyone - there is something called interview - it cannot work only in limites scenarios . you should see what gujjus do in motel industry or gas station industry or grocery industry for REAL fraud.

Second i never said IT industry runs on telugu people ra MORON. kastha brain vaadu. I am not comparing Telugu people with americans or chinese. I am comparing with other state people.

Kulli kulli chasthaar seeing the success of telugu people.

second yes in elite areas it is still mostly north indian upper castes or tamil brahms - that is how india is designed - for them to be in top -  look at bureacrats and army chiefs and indian company top management. you think they will make space for you ? yerri pappa nayala.

Infact that is how it is meant to be until CBN came and changed it. Village caste people like you never realize it.

I worked in TN - and tambrahm MP (jairam ramesh) said  software is revenge of brahmins against reservation anta.

However telugu people are propostionally well represented in IT senior mgmt but not dominating compared to other states. Eventually they will -  again benchmarking with other indians - not americans.japanese gatra.

Before working for IT i worked briefly in Oil industry for few months. The management even in hyderabad location was tamilians. It used to be like that.
