401k lo em options lo invest cheyyali bro?

I’m not an expert, and don’t think anyone else is.

S&P index funds are the cheapest and safest bet long term. It’s boring but that’s what it is.

i also suggest you invest the full 60k plus(incl after tax 401k) into 401k if u can. I do that every year.

https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/investing/after-tax-401k-contributions

  • The after-tax 401(k) limit lets you contribute additional money to a 401(k) beyond the $20,500 2022 pre-tax limit.

  • The after-tax 401(k) contribution limit is $61,000 in 2022, or $66,000 in 2023.

  • Once you and your employer contribute to your 401(k) with pre-tax dollars you can contribute with post-tax dollars up to the $61,000 limit in 2022.

What's the point in contributing to 401k with after tax. I don't see any benefit. It's same as investing yourself with after tax money

We are in 1981 type situation, which means interest rates will not go down for at least 3-4 yrs. H1's should be totally out of this market, if someone thinks they are better, they can surely test their stress levels

lol why man..

You convert it to Roth after contributing to after tax 401k.
