Many celebrities like Elon musk who said he works 18 hours and sleeps only 4 hours a day to road side stall guy who envisioned his dream of making multiple restaurant branches, so if you love your work and have big dreams you ll be successful.

if you quote health reasons working only 8 hours per day beneficial there are many people who died sitting idle without work too in their lives doing only personal work or being with family. So can’t generalize

working more than …8 hours is new era of capitalistic trends…

all these elon stories are make us to work more (or slavery more)..

at the end …after your hard work..they show you empty hand…( or elon way of firing twitter employees..)

invest your time wisely on your dreams…than working for someone…

Like I said they might be working for their dreams only and seeing money as catalyst, you are not getting it

Lol I already explained you well and still you don’t get it, I quit explaining to you.
If a road side stall guy works for more than 8 hours to achieve his dream to own a restaurant one day, if an it employee works for more than 8 hours to setup a company for himself one day why not?

you just need common sense for that and loving what you do be it work or anything. A predefined notion of having 8 hours in life for work and nothing more is also a thing derived from corporate IT slavery.

stall guy story is funny story…and funny comparison with tea stall with software company…

8 hours work…is for employer…rest of the time you can spend build your own library or own brand or open source or your own idea if your capable…

i was thinking just like you few yrs back..and ended/killed all my own ideas like mybudgetplans.com and many other ideas like mobile app ..etc later realized what mistakes i have done..

i am not giving you counter or trying to gain upperhand in argument..(i am least bothered about it) etc …just giving you advice…

rest all upto you…

spend time with family, pick a hobby of your choice, travel, work your 8 hours honestly…అంతకంటే మనమేం చేయగలం…
