whatever indian prosperity is there  - is a result of :

a) Indian farmers who keep producing despite all the insults they suffer in the name of caste/class etc

b) western technlogy like green revolution etc

c)chinese maal

d) CBN who bought IT jobs

Looks like this suits best for Jaguar group after Tata acquired: Past performance isn't always a good indicator of future results.

Instead of seeing what path breaking Jaguar products are sold, maybe  you can see it like this.

Jaguar is an iconic British Brand and it went into bankruptcy and Ford (i think) was forced to sell it and ultimately Tata got its hands on it.

The british companies that gave us their used stuff like ambassador are now bought by Indian business to stay afloat. Although Tata's can't take the tech out, maybe in a few years they will port out the engine tech and plug the gaps in Indian industry.

There is a lot of may be's / assumptions here guru. Forget about Tata acquiring it. They are having terrible last 2-3 years.
