They are truly old fashioned, impractical now... Unless you really really need curtains for whatever reason. 

Buy good quality blinds /shades here... Don't do the mistake as I and many do here

They are sheer curtains.. you can get them for same cheaper price here..

Depending on where u r , you will definitely  need curtains to block cold weather or hot weather and that will Save lot of power bills.. I don’t recommand using Indian curtains tho.. shop in US with ability to block temperatures
