I think the negativity comes from the fact that no one cares about pronunciation - that too American pronunciation. What are you trying to prove? 

Is the aim to work in a call center for American customers? 

If it's to show case English proficiency and grammar, then I understand... But focus is on pronunciation

They made grammatical blunders, do you think US invites Indians for our Auuhhmeyyyricawnn accent or our brain power to work in IT.

Stress on the knowledge, correct education ….training to imitate American accent will lead those poor girls to nowhere.
