Govt and Army run cheyanik resources kavali, which the nation is now falling short of. They are weeks away from going bankrupt and won’t be able to pay for the large army it maintains. Civilian Govt has always been weak and any chance of military rule will further weaken the system. Plus tribal warlords rule the local groups, mostly terrain and remote along the park Afghan border…it’s messy.

If this happens then it’s a huge problem to India

If Pakistan splits, I think it's easier to manage Pakistan as a neighbor than in its present size.

you have to see what further concessions Pak gives to TTP to get them to be calm, Pak gave some assurances but then in past Sept got the TTP and its another head killed and TTP rose up in arms and slowly ramped up attacks.

Pakistan military can crush them, but will pay some price and waste their precious resources in trying to fight TTP.

As Android halwa mentioned that part of pak-Afghan border is having local warlords who can change the course of the fight or sway the issues if need be.

No chance it will happen because america doens't want it to happen

Americans and chinese have vested stake in Pakistan's survival

Yeah, absolutely no chance for the split.

I think rebel leaders will become more powerful in Pakistan. US or China may not be of much help to stabilize or provide guarantees.
