Bakwassss article.

Firstly, our population is blessing and a curse at the same time. Our imports are increasing every day. Our per capita income is still very less. India’s average per capita income and purchasing power is way worse than even thurak countries such as Bangladesh.

Currency is at its all time low. Rupee has not strengthened in the last 5 decades. It only gets worse due to to our dependency on energy imports.

India lacks innovation compared to any other high populated country in the world. Other than 2nd grade service based software companies, we have nothing to contribute to the global innovation.  Let’s accept this truth.

our Indian universities are not even in top 500 universities around the globe. Our education system is a joke. Reservation system makes it way worse.

Corruption and pollution are extremely high.

I agree india is a growing market, but all the hype around it is just a facade.

IITians undoubtedly are talented graduates and that does not mean univs have high standards , it is that they are born to excel

with kind of population India has, brain drain cannot do down anytime soon

Indians giving up citizenship is not a good indicator of anything for India, wealthy people leave US too

Immigration will go down all over the world with demise of globalization, we are in a phase of localization now and Indias localized policies should help attract local manufacturing in the next 5 yrs

biggest bane for growth in India are reservation, IAS/IPS system and Judiciary, these entities are dragging India to futher develop beyond the current threshold

Modi has been too slow dealing with expectations around above reforms, while congress would have taken India back to 90's

lateral entry for IAS/IPS, refined judicial nominations, reservations based on financial condition alone would be the best reforms if they ever happen

reservations based on historical propaganda of upper caste suppressing lower caste and not eliminating creamy layer is the biggest culprit for brain drain.

The people who gave up citizenship would be people settled abroad and have got citizenship recently, as in people from US for the past 5-10 years waiting on GC and citizenship or in Europe Australia or any other tax haven places.

this will continue for another 3-5 years as the existing lot waiting on GC/citizenship will be next in line. When talking about brain drain you have to see how many people are leaving India "now" with an intention to never come back, that will give you an idea whether its increasing or decreasing.

why didn't they return to india giving up their GC?
