I don't know where you live but Americans think Indians bathe in ganges river among the dead bodies, technical support, scammers but ironically they have huge respect for people coming to US to work

Do you see this anywhere else ? this is third world crap

IITians undoubtedly are talented graduates and that does not mean univs have high standards , it is that they are born to excel

India education system is one of the worst and even remotely compared to US. I graduated from top 10 engg. colleges in India and I can for sure tell that we dont even keep up with top 70 in US. Its just the people who get in there are smart hence they perform.

Last year summer lo nenu India lo ne unna, there are none of my second cousins in India, prati okkariki visa vachindi, airport dussera pandagi ki imlibum bus stand kanna goranga unde. Tickets one way were selling as high as $3k - $3.5k and avg ticket cost was $2.5k with connections, my cousin bought oneway with 2 stops and one with 11 hour layover for $2.5k, now tell me who is staying in India. If you check graduate registrations this year from India it will be the highest ever and indeed we surpassed Chinese students coming to US and highest for any demo graphic.

ippudu kotta trend nadustunnadi after inter ee flight ekkutunnaru SAT exams rasi

we are the 3rd highest immigrants after chinese and Mexicans in the US

This will soon stop atleast to vomerica… many people are thinking to go to India due to GC backlogs, decent pay in india and this trend will increase exponentially.
Mostly uth are coming due to peer or parent pressure and they are under the impression that after MS then OPT then H1B oka 10yr lo GC… realisation started and many returning

How many doctors per 10000 people? How many doctors? How many police, judges per 10000 people? Ee stats unte vesthe better.

Per capita laaga chusthe chala takuve vuntadi and no doubt about it but at the same time, Indians spend the least on medical care, one such country where medical costs are in control unlike else where.

A doctor attends to 4 times the number of patients in India than their counterparts in US in facilities which can be marked no where closer to be on par with western healthcare.

It took US 250 years to stand where it is today. India still at 70 and lot more ground to cover and we have been doing so at a rapid pace. For the progress, look at how India was in 1947, 1975 and now.

Not Silicon Valley. Here’s why.

1. India’s massive Gen Z population.

Over 600m Indians are under the age of 28. Which all were brought up with access to the internet.

2. India’s talent pool.

India’s universities produce some of the best technical talent on the planet.

3. Indian’s are staying home.

The Indian brain drain has ended. Founders are either staying in india or coming back to india to build.

4. 2nd largest internet user base.

With the rise of JIo and other platforms, unlimited data is affordable and scalable across the country, literally allowing everyone to be connected.

5. Influx of global capital.

$130B has been raised by Indian startups from 2014 to 2022.

6. Growing consumer market.

As the Indian economy continues to grow and more people enter the middle class, there is a huge opportunity for companies to tap into the growing consumer market in India.

7. Rapid urbanization and growth of the middle class.

India is experiencing rapid urbanization and the growth of a large middle class, which is driving demand for new technologies and services.

8. Strong government support for the tech industry.

The Indian government has been actively promoting the tech industry and providing support through many different initiatives.

9. Network effects

India has 100+ unicorns.

10. Scrappy founders wanting to go global

Founders in India are hungry, technical and relentless having global ambitions.

This is India’s tech revolution 🇮🇳🚀.

Do you agree?

There is nothing wrong in acknowledging the fact that India needs to invest a lot in healthcare and public services. What is self deprecating in this?

Bakwassss article.

Firstly, our population is blessing and a curse at the same time. Our imports are increasing every day. Our per capita income is still very less. India’s average per capita income and purchasing power is way worse than even thurak countries such as Bangladesh.

Currency is at its all time low. Rupee has not strengthened in the last 5 decades. It only gets worse due to to our dependency on energy imports.

India lacks innovation compared to any other high populated country in the world. Other than 2nd grade service based software companies, we have nothing to contribute to the global innovation.  Let’s accept this truth.

our Indian universities are not even in top 500 universities around the globe. Our education system is a joke. Reservation system makes it way worse.

Corruption and pollution are extremely high.

I agree india is a growing market, but all the hype around it is just a facade.

Except one thing I agree with rest of everything

Education system is good in India.

Problem is no funds for research.

Politicians looting n giving peanuts

Research is important.

India can never compete with low research

Having worked in India soon after college(college placements) and 2 years later came here for US for MS, life is better here and you can earn a lot more as a young person than in India

for the same work I did after graduation I was paid 12x more, same level of parity in salary India lo match cheyyali ante naku easy ga 15 years patredi. That’s why you see a lot of Indian graduates chiiping  away except for very few.

the time to earn in US is as a bachelor, pellam, pillulalu illa ante em undadu ikkada

Indian freshers kinippudu 25-40k witch companies lo and konchamu producy companies ayite 50-1lakh

India lo there is no respect for work life, people are made to slog sometimes on weekends and late evenings

traffic, commute ilantivi kanipiatw chukkalu kani pistayi
