#SuggestionsNeeded My company culture is becoming toxic day by day. Last month my manager setup a teams meeting with the entire team (SEs, BAs) and said moving forward every morning people have to say Good Morning when they are online and Good Night when they log off in the evening so that she knows who's coming and going at what time. She also mentioned even if you step away for 2 minutes (let's say to get water or to use the restroom) you have to write BRB in the teams chat. On top of that if she asks a question in the team chat you have to respond within 2-3 minutes max. Even if the question is for some other team member ALL of us have to acknowledge with a thumbs up stating they read the question. Last week manager was on vacation and one my colleagues wrote BRB multiple times (every one was in holiday mood) so she responded via her phone asking hey xyz how many breaks are you gonna take today? workload is so much that every Friday feels like Monday. This is getting ridiculous day by day. Even schools are not that uptight. On top of everything they are paying peanuts. They pay me $79k and I am BA with genuine 6.5 years of experience. What should I do? I am a USC. Am I thinking it right that this is TOXIC work culture? Please pour in your suggestions.
