this is a very important issue to consider… I see this issue with many kids.. they go to one room and lock the doors.. hard to track what they are doing all the time.. we used to be more tight knit when living in an apartment..

1] Cleaning and maintenance. This is such a waste of time. 

2] Property taxes

3] Utility bills 

4] unwarranted requests from friends and family members. 

5] Repairs costs. 

Under 1500 ft might be too small if you have kids. So between 1800 to 2300 is best.
