Man you are sensible person negotiate annav ok but  Lite katodu emi kaadu laanti chetha suggestions iyyaku bro. When he is taking treatment he should have minimum courtesy/gratitude to pay for his mother's treatment. You may not know this but He will have impact on his social and konni collection agencies will drag him to court if he is the guardian. Also, parents visa application lo  you are the sponsor ani chepthav this will show up in

Akada paina cheppa kada bro  negotiate try to pay if yiu can pay if it's beyond just leave it

Parents visa application lo you never say you are guardian yiu just provide invitation letter,

You will never have impact on your social , this is based one experience of previous coworker almost 8 years ayindi 100k plus bill for parent after negotiating,  he paid 10k or some thing and left , he did not signed

If you don't sign show me a case where it had impact on social when parent was sick

Always take insurance (mostly they won't cover for preexisting conditikns)

A hospital ayina first dl copy must and ask you to fill forms first sign cheyakunda treatment cheyaru this is must they collect it not just for payments but to inform police in case if it is criminal case death. They will store all your info including your social in their database even with little info you provided to them. When unpaid it all your info goes to collections.

It depends on how you Negotiate with them.

You are thinking that bro , any hospital in case if emergency they have to treat worst case visa copy adugutaru its not you this about our parents they dont have DL Social

They will never store your social, unless you sign the copy of some financial undertaking document , if you refuse they have to treat the patient then bill comes

Dont think they will come after your social collectiuon will be on parents name , you are just providing invitation letter  collection agencies have no right to come after you

Have you seen this happening to any one ???

i have two examples where one negotoiated (he had visotr insurance but some minor stunt ) he paid some 10k odd and settled some churhc helped to negotiate with hospirtl

IN other case it as un insured the bill was about 250k it was direct heart surgery  in that case the son gave up he did not signed either , it has been 8 years in the earlier company no notice nothing it was write off , the son got GC has well if any unknwon collections were there it would have been shown in bg check

Its not publicity to evade the hospital bill, things do happen there are options ani cheptuina

My point is if you negotiate with hospital they have payment plans. Some hospitals let you go if you meet their min pay requirement it all depends on hospital bro but don't be so naive that they don't have your full info. They will pull and store all your records just some day any officer comes with questions about your case.

Treatment may begin under extreme cases without signing forms is rare. Generally, they make you sign forms for sure. I have seen ppl's ssn got impacted even after 2 years under 'derogatory' remarks section by credit agencies. May be your friends are lucky but some may not be as lucky as them. Naa paatha roomate ni claims court nundi summon notice ochindi debbaki he settled out of the court. I can go on but you get my point.

No rbo that's wrong they will ask you to sign the form no hospital in usa says if you don't  sign they will notstart the treatment , as you said this is applicable only for emergency scenarios, he signed may be he settled , I am not saying Herr don't pay the bills , don't take insurance things to happen like TS

Point is you have options , as long as you don't sign financial responsibility

So your friend did not signed the form and his SSn got impacted???
