Bendapudi is too much le.....Jr NTR, RC etc andaru on a daily basis they talk in english and interact with many ppl...veelu american accent try cheyyatam thappu ledhu....even Jagan sometimes speaks when he is interacting with National Media folks and same with KTR when he talks with foreign deligates. 

Oscars/Golden Globe etc events lo Asians/Africans or South Americans vallaki awards appudu chudali...valla english ni english analemu...antha horrible untadi and some ppl even hire a translator as well....so there is nothing wrong to speak in pakka local english.....Keeravani english lo nothing wrong...good that he sticked to his own accent.

Mana culture, mana customs ni hide cheyyalsina avasaram ledhu......western ppl appreciate the way we are. Event ki ladies andaru saree lo vacharu....this is awesome..kudos. Hope they do the same in Oscars too
