It will have to participate if it wants to trade. Even soviets wanted to trade with us but us sanctioned them in 1948.

But as long as vietnam protects its people they will be fine. I dont see them bending backwards anywhere.

Right now indias strength is the population young workforce, while in china 10-15 years there will population collapse  .. india have to seriously step up there game  in industrialization…

it absolutely is. India is on the cusp of trying to become atleast a reasonable economic force in the world, and most conversations in India revolve around reservations like all the *** losers will magically qualify if reservations won't exist.

because your class decides what you studied, and how you networked and how you landed your job.

its different if you are actively creating something and markets for your products. Upper class people living  in India who don't do that are all waste of space. just enjoying infrastructure that they don't deserve, while enslaving a class of people and affecting their productivity.
