Iphone vs Andriod Privacy

I believe that privacy is just a myth,

Y some people believe that IOS is more secure and safe   vs android which has same security 

in every OS unless u give explicit permission to access the details they will not use your info.

When I visited  India last March people were like y do u use Samsung, instead of Iphone,

They still believe that Iphone is a superior phone compared to others.

Moreover Iphone was designed  for novice People to use where as Android is more customizable,  its my view.

Can anyone say me what's  basis of  this  futile discussion

Iphone implemented privacy where cross app data usage requires user permission. Fb/snap fasaked because of this. Afaik, android is still in process of implementing it.

 

superior quality: iphone can be used for 4-5 years where as samsung etc android devices for 1-2 yrs.

 

latest OS: iphone os can be updated easily where as lot of OEM’s block andriod OS updates. Stats: ~90% of IOS devices run on latest OS. Only 10-15% andriod devices run on latest OS.

 

errors: use adb command(adb logcat) by connecting android mobile to computer and see how many errors will be logged. Do the same thing using xcode for iphone and u will see the difference.

 

if u want more technical stuff, lot of UI which u see in samsung mobile is actually implemented by samsung using android open source. When u switch from samsung to lg or other oem, u will see big UI difference for the same reason.

bottom line: apple gives 10 properly working features. Andriod gives 50 half baked features

Privacy is not a myth. I wish it was myth, ayleast fb stock would have been good if it was.

IPhone is for novice users. My Samsung galaxy phone is running excellent from last 5 years only battery capacity is at 60%. You can install custom apk on Android such as downloading songs from YouTube etc.

What android version is it running on?

iphone or andriod or any device there is no full privacy.

Coming to mobile OS, IOS has better privacy than andriod but none give full privacy.

Yeah. Mana level la manam try cheyyali strong password frequent ga change cheyyali MFA use cheyya le. Addamaina links click cheyodhu messages and email la. Ila min maintain chesthe any phone is good. Data collection I don't know. I think all data is available anukunta manam yentha dhaachina ee days la yedho oka dhaggara dorukidhi mana info

This is not entirely true, apple admitted in Europe that they intentionally slow down phones with updates. Android doesnt do such stuff.

Samsung flag ships work with out issues for 4-5 years i have S7 edge for 4+ years and only upgraded due to good exchange offer.

I use Iphone from Work and personal samsung android device. i feel both devices are durable and infact i feel apple is playing catch up on hardware with Android for a while.

Software wise IOS is more optimized and stable.

I feel by now ppl have decided which phone they will stick on....Android - iOS switch already chesi untaru and edo oka daaniki fix aipoyyuntaru by now. Unless you are new to mobile phones (teenager aithe), inka iOS vs Andr comparison waste. Every now n then we cant switch....our photos, backup data etc oorike switch cheyyalemu

Both are equally good...both have probs, both are superior than other

Not all androids are same.. if you buy flagship, it is better then iphone in many ways.. I am someone who is on phone most of the time.. I do even documentation on phone.  This is my 5th year of using android flagship ... Fast as new. Only the battery performance is compromised recently..

Not all androids are same. Thats my point too. It all depends on manufacturers.  So comparision should be between iphone & samsung or iphone & flagship or what ever. Not between ios & android.

between ur phone is still fast as new because ur still using 5 yrs back android OS. If u update to latest os(not sure if its possible), ur phone will end up slow
