between ur phone is still fast as new because ur still using 5 yrs back android OS. If u update to latest os(not sure if its possible), ur phone will end up slow

Just check andriod version in ur phone bro.. 

aa far as i know andriod phones(non pixel) dont get android os updates.

the updates u r talking must be either flagship updates or some non os updates from google.

u can confirm by checking android version on ur phone with current android version available in the market.

Thaata with cheap androids of old time..new flagship Android phones do get OS updates for upto 4 years, pixel even more ..but myphone is not going to get any more.. I will be buying a new one this year if it stops pushing security patches..
