Memu contract sign chesinapudu 2.5% undey maku builder 18months delayed  memu feb 2022 closing chesinapudu 3.5% undi. Nothing in our hands. Either you come out of contract. ya builders forced us to get pre approval and we locked our rates at 3.5% which is valid for 330 days for first time home buyer. Our bank is able to extend 2 more months i.e till April but builder says they can't finish before May

How did you lock the rate? Did you pay any amount to lock it or just based on prequalified they locked it?

it could be a blessing for u actually. Almost all the places in USA home prices went down by atleast 10% compared to last jan. Even in bay area, ny.

In our areas, our under construction home went 200K high even now
