it is almost like chatGPT for coding , it can write code , search docs  , can do static code analysis / linting , refactoring and much more without leaving IDE .... interesting

there are tough days coming for the guys who is going to maintain the code , these AI powered tools like copilot , Tabnine and this use existing code from millions  of projects (from github / gitlab etc...) to do the code completion , most of us not understand that code properly ( 1 year tharuvatha ,mana code open chesthy manakee ardam kadhu ) ..... good luck guys

piccha lyt ee chatgpt and others. I have read extensively. Endi oka add 2 numbers or some code iste developer akkarleda...picchi naa k. even the smallest microservice will have 30-40 python files and multiple imports happen and each file is around 300-400 lines at the minimum

ee chatgpt lu best case scenario ok..who will handle exceptions,unit tests ,code refactoring , monitoring , logging etc

Its like saying I will become a billionaire by watching "how to be a billionaire" in youtube

AI simply sucks man...last 60 years nundi adharagoduthunnaaru..

inthavaraku proper Voice Recognition system kooda sariga cheyyaleedhu..

AI generated code ni modify cheese time lo kaneesam oka 3-4 times more additional and fresh code raayochu..

AI ki oka dandam raa naayana..

Yeah lot of companies won’t spend on these type of tools! Look at twitter what happened.. e l a n took over and he is trashing it to the core

AI  generated  code currently sucks because AI use already existing code from repos like github , there are no proper LLMs ( so much quality code is not available for AI currently due to propriety code bases) but moors law / S curve applied here also , we are starting of this S curve and it will take off in few years once quality AI models available for training.  The purpose of these tools are not generating code in developer IDEs, but build quality tested plug-n-play models where corporations can easily build their applications with already tested code base.
