AI  generated  code currently sucks because AI use already existing code from repos like github , there are no proper LLMs ( so much quality code is not available for AI currently due to propriety code bases) but moors law / S curve applied here also , we are starting of this S curve and it will take off in few years once quality AI models available for training.  The purpose of these tools are not generating code in developer IDEs, but build quality tested plug-n-play models where corporations can easily build their applications with already tested code base.

in case if you have unused variables defined,or not following naming and indentation guidelines or any unnecessary comments in the code…etc it will catch and alerts us…during compile time or in editor..( it depends how you configure it..)

in javascript projects eslint , tslint..etc are famous tools…similarly almost all languages have something…
