I still wonder why people don’t buy homes in chapel hill area? It’s barely less than a 45 drive from RTP area. School district is good and it’s far from all this nonsense. Are there any NC localities here that can enlighten me on this topic?

Chapel Hill is more for college going students and far from rtp area .. also , I guess it is only private schools that are good in that area .. ppl want to live in suburbs ...

Nenu NC lo almost sign cheysi back out ayyanu because of my job. But oka 2-3 months gattiga research cheysa staying at friends place.
1. Cary and Morrisville are better areas to live but no single family homes available, if available they are more than a million

2. Durham majority are blacks. With very low desi community and not great schools.

3. Apex is best but again very less single family homes, oka 5 years back who bought homes here are fortunate, no industries, convenience to jobs, good schools but some communities are close to nuclear plant, papam friends theliyaka thesukunnaru and they regret it.

4. New Hill, this is the area where 95% people who bought homes didn’t even know do basic research and trying to get out of this area. Homes are now selling way less than other areas because people started realizing.

5. Hollysprings, 20 years back this was remote and a industrial area, county housing market ni bump cheyadaniki made good developments but fact enti antae this area is terrible with pharmaceutical industries, largest dump yard, propane filling station and very close to Nuclear plant. Sad part enti antae people bought homes with out knowing this and 85% never visited NC.

6. Fuquay Varina, this area is a surprise for every one, desis flocked this area, no industries, average schools, moderately faraway from nuclear plant, and surprisingly 60% of NC residents bought in this area rather than outside state people. But mouth of word spread ayi this area has become more popular and I don’t know how because mana desis first chusadi schools and ratings are 6 to 7 only. May be in next 2-3 years improve avuthayi ani thesukoni untaru, not sure.

7. Garner, this is one of the pleasant area, I liked it but chala remote, below average or bad schools but it was not a requirement during my case. So desis anthaga thesuko ledu, this is moderately far from NP.

Fuquay is the flavor of the season

If it is NC I would avoid New hill and Holly springs area… I feel pity for people who bought houses in Holly springs, because basic research cheyakunda move ayyaru from 20 different states, major land fill undhi, Pharma manufacturing plants, propane station, and nuclear plant..

In my research I found that there are no immediate effects but it could cause gene mutations ani vinna which may lead to carcinoma..

Are you sure bro? Check this out

Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools

I drove once from Chapel Hill to RTP area. It was less than 30 min drive. In all honesty, it was a Sunday morning though. Not a lot of traffic.
