if we get laid off there is 60 days grace bro to find a new employer

i think TS is asking on top of this 60 days there is something called compelling circumstances ead for 140 approved folks which was there earlier but this administration recently posted again so dont know so far any who used it yet but one of the option

DHS does not define “compelling circumstances” but provides 4 examples: - Serious illness and disabilities; - Employer retaliation; - Other substantial harm to the applicant; and - Significant disruption to the employer

there is no such thing called extended 1 year grace period just because u have I140.

what u r confusing is with the 1 Year EAD given in critical circumstances.

unfortunately lay offs dont count as critical circumstance to grant EAD.

bottom line is if on H1, you have only 60 days grace period guaranteed from the last day of your job.
