In the 8400 block of S. Holland, on Jan. 22, 2023, at approx. 6:53 p.m., two male victims, 22 and 23, were near a parking lot when they were approached by a dark-in-color vehicle. Two offenders exited the vehicle, presented handguns, and demanded the victim’s property. The victims complied and at some point the offenders then fired shots, striking the victims.

Male victim, 22, was struck in the chest and was transported to U of C Hospital initially reported in critical.

Male victim, 23, was struck to the armpit and was transported to Christ Hospital initially reported in critical condition.

 

There are no offenders in custody, area detectives are investigating.

Agree South side not even chance.. full gang wars in Chicago. Definitely a place to avoid. Better stay in west or north parts of chicago

Even some western suburbs have gangs and lots of shootings 

F1 students should be shown a map where majority of shootings take place and avoid them
