US: Two Telugu Students Shot In Chicago

Two students, 22, and 23 were shot and critically wounded during an armed robbery on Sunday night in Princeton Park on the South Side.

The two students were approached by two men who demanded money at gunpoint. The 22-year-old young man was shot in the chest and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center and is in critical condition.

The other student was struck in the armpit and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn. Reportedly, he is also in critical condition.

One of them is identified as Sai Charan from Telangana.

Word south side it self is scary … even ppl of their own kind are scared to be in those locations not sure why desi ppl go there! If they had to they just take outmost safety measures when they r in those locations.

I went there few times while I lived in Chicago , really bad place similar to few areas in bronx

Most likely reason ade. Part time chesi fee pay chestam ane idea nundi e students bayta padali....... they can pay off the loan in an year after getting a job. Restaurants are fine but gas stations always risky.
