More than 500k you are likely to make stupid investments and lose them. Also easy income more than 500k may lose your motivation to work and keep body in shape.

I dont think money works that way. If you are a business guy or a famous singer/actor/enterpreneur then you keep making millions not because you plan to consume it but for fame, the desire to create something gatra.

what i am talking is purely about consuming basic things - food, entertainment, sex - in a very comfortable way.

You wont get famous on 500k or leave wealth for children (they may not need it if they are doing well themselves)
