Bandla Ganesh looking up to TDP?

Not long ago, popular producer-actor Bandla Ganesh declared that he was bidding adieu to politics stating that he had taken the decision because of his family responsibilities.

“Following advice from the members of my joint family, keeping in view the future of my children and finally and due to my works and business activities, I have decided to keep away from politics,” he tweeted in October last year.

Ganesh said he has no enmity or friendship with any political party. But known for his loose-tongue and controversial comments, he has been, on and off, posting tweets with political overtones.

According to latest reports, Bandla Ganesh is said to be contemplating returning to politics by joining the Telugu Desam Party.

The rumours surfaced after he posted a tweet extending best wishes to TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, who will be launching his state-wide padayatra from Friday.

Attaching the picture of Nara Brahmani applying vermilion on the forehead of Lokesh on his social media platform, Bandla Ganesh wished him all the best saying: “Digvijaya Praptirasthu” (Wish you a great victory).

Reacting to a comment of a netizen asking him which he party he belonged to, Ganesh said he belonged to the people’s party. “Whichever party gets the people’s mandate, it would be his party,” he said.

Apparently, Ganesh, who is an ardent fan of power star Pawan Kalyan, is preferring to join the TDP because of his community links. Whether he gets any posts or position in the party is too early to be predicted.

Ganesh used to pick up bitter quarrels with YSR Congress party general secretary V Vijay Sai Reddy for the latter’s comments against Jana Sena Party and the TDP besides, his own community.

Bandla Ganesh, who has entered politics in 2018, joined the Congress party. Though he had been busy with his business activities and film making, he used to regularly attend the party activities. But later, he dropped out of politics.
