coin was heavily shorted since it came as ipo…it never been strong green in my portfolio since i took it (day one..)..

Couple of those if you got at IPO, you would be a millionaire and wipeout all remaining losses as well. So he's contradicting his own post. He should have limited to recent IPOs (from 2018), In normal conditions IPOs start low and go up from there unlike in last few years. But identifying winners from losers is hard otherwise everyone will be rich which also means no one is rich  . 

There is no right or wrong here, it's all conviction and amount of risk you want to take. And who know how many of those will make a comeback.
