I have been using Airtel for past 2 years in USA - and I have been maintaining for the same reason. (SBI bank - OTPs)

No need of Indian sim for sbi, they send OTP on my US mobile just fine albeit mine is NRE account

@yoda123how does these plans work?

- if i take yearly pack and if i just give missed calls once a month from USA will the number be active?

- when should we recharge again and for how much minimum balance should we maintain?

I have been using airtel prepaid plan. With this airtel sim you cannot make calls to India. But can send and receive SMS for free without charge.

I bought a yearly plan last June and cost me around RS 1900
