Dorikipothav… now all companies are tracking IP’s. Be careful.

ma company lo 5 caught last year and they were thrown out of client project & even from employer for not following immigration & billing compliance.

Don’t do that. Every client has security team to track IP’s.

If you're working from India using a VPN, there are a few things you can do to improve your VPN connection and ensure it runs smoothly. Here are some tips:

  1. Choose a reliable VPN service: There are many VPN providers available, so make sure to choose a reputable one that has a good track record for speed, security, and reliability.

  2. Select the right server: Choose a server that is closest to your location for the best performance.

  3. Disable background applications: Running too many applications simultaneously can slow down your VPN connection. Make sure to close or disable any unnecessary applications before starting your VPN.

  4. Adjust your encryption settings: High encryption levels can slow down your VPN connection, so it's best to choose the lowest encryption level that still provides the level of security you need.

  5. Try a wired connection: If possible, use a wired connection instead of Wi-Fi, as this can provide a more stable and faster connection.

Regarding VPN setup, some VPNs offer client software that can be installed on your device, allowing you to connect to the VPN without setting it up on your router. You can search for "VPN client software" on your preferred search engine to find options that fit your requirements.

It's important to note that if you're working remotely without your manager's knowledge, it may be unethical and may be a violation of your employer's policies. It's best to have an open and transparent relationship with your manager and to discuss any concerns or issues with them.

Don't do .I work for networking team..we suggest consultants to not work from other countries because of data integrity issues..

It is more of an offense ..

Even these Infosys and Wipro they have built in localized servers to avoid man in the middle attacks to protect our data.. so that is a serious security threat.. if permission is the issue and your company don't mind working outside country then it is a different story

Working remotely from another country may pose a risk to the data integrity and security of the company. It is important for companies to have measures in place to protect sensitive information and prevent man-in-the-middle attacks. Some companies have built localized servers for this purpose. Ultimately, the decision to allow remote work from another country should be based on the company's policies and its ability to mitigate potential security threats.
