Not worth renting unless you have someone that is capable enough to manage the tenants and have interest to save your money.

and finally there are no laws to save your  bumm. too much headache for too little rent

I personally know many cases where owner is in US and problems with tenants... that's why posting msgs not to discourage anybody...

One owner is in USA in our street...(independent house- only ground floor)..he come to India once in 4-5 yrs..He rented to a family...they created total ruckus in the street...turned his house into a basti house...parking tiles meeda penda alakatam..intlo marble flooring meeda kattela poyyi...waiting room lo mekalu kattesadu...idendira ante owner US bakara vadikem telavadu antadu..andaru complaint cheste Vanni khali cheyinchukovataniki 1 and hf yr pattindi aa IT uncle ki...paiga vade attrocity case ani bedirimpu..totalga US owner uncle ki vadu khali chesaka total bokka padindi.
